This is a brand new kimono by our original brand 'Kimonotte'.

We are often called, `Bird shop' because we cannot resist to obtain bird motif kimono or obi - we are just so obsessed by bird motif!

The Kimono has enchanting parrot and karin(Chinese quince)design.
We printed on Toray Siljely fabric. The original kimono background color is green.

Among our bird motif kimono, this one is a special one and our favorite. Actually
the kimono was worn for our exhibition in NY in 2018.

There are enchanting parrots in front and on the back too on the karin trees. You can see yellow karin fruit also. The big size tachibana, citrus silhouette give the vintage kimono atmosphere, yet the kimono is very easy to care and washable.

The original kimono was partially embroidered on parrot's head and feathers but the part looks interesting and has the similar effect by the print on this reproduced kimono.

It happens often that the main design is hidden when old kimono are worn (regarding the original kimono, one of the parrot could not show and hidden under obi--these things happen with vintage kimono often)so we arranged those parrots to appear under obi.
The delightful motif and the flow of the wonderful original design make the kimono most exceptional.

This is WASHABLE at home.

The care is very easy, yet the kimono looks vintage and full of classical charms!

Textile: Polyester 100% (Toray: Siljely, antistatic finish)
Tailor: Machine sewn
