This is an elegant Nagoya obi made by Tatsumura Textile co., ltd, one of the leading textile companies in Japan.
It has smiling Chinese child pattern, which is woven.
'Raden'(design in mother-of-pearl inlay)-like beautiful foiled threads shines elegantly.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
It has woven name of a brand "Tatsumura" inside of 'tare'(wide end).

Stains and patinas on 'otaiko'(square bow) are slight but they are disturbing on the light base.(A,B)
It has prominent patinas on the blank part of the waist part.
It also has slight frays and folding lines.
Please check photos and figure.

Not shown on the sheet and in the photos, it has a 3cm(1.2in), big stain and 6 to 7 of slight linear stains and slight patinas on 'maegara' (front patterned part) of Kansai wrap(rotate obi clockwise) side.
They will not be seen if you tied with Kanto wrap side. (Rotate obi counterclockwise).
It has a prominent linear wrinkle due to the long term storage.
There are some patinas on the wrong side of tare.

If these minor flaws do not bother you, it could be still worn.
This piece would add extra elegance to your kimono outfit.
