This is a graceful vintage Maru obi with vibrant 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) design, which is dyed.
Fine embroidery work and 'kinkoma'(golden outlining embroidery work) are added on the main parts for extra elegance.
Textile is exquisite silk with woven hazy mist pattern, and has soft touch.
Both ends are roughly sewn, but not disturbing for wearing.
When you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise), Maegara will show.

The design on the otaiko(square bow) is suitable for Hikinuki knot style.
The design on the tare end is on the wrong side.

The folding lines are quite slight.
The stitches of the embroidery work on the 'Maegara' (front patterned part) are largely coming loose. (refer to the 3rd & 4th flaws photo)
The stain on the otaiko(square bow) will be hidden when tied (refer to the 2nd flaws photo), but the stains (A) will appear when you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left(Rotate obi counterclockwise).
The frays and pin hole are tiny.
For the details, please refer to the photos and figure.

Though it has some prominent flaws, please enjoy its full taste of vintage!
