This is an elegant Tsume tsuzure casual opened Nagoya obi with a scenery of Kinkakuji temple and Daimonji mountain on 'tsuitate'(partition) design, which is woven.
Gold foil threads woven in the pattern are tastefully shining.
It has special kind of comfortable and medium touch of Tsume tsuzure silk.
It also has "Hatsurime" (small gap in the boundaries of colors), which is the distinctive feature of Tsume tsuzure weave.
Maegara(front patterned part) is only one side.
When you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left (Rotate obi counterclockwise), the maegara will appear.
Tesaki(one end) is not tailored and it is like a fringe.

Stains on 'tare'(wide end) are not seen when tied, or not noticeable.(First and second photos of flaws)
It has loose stitches on the closing part of the wrong side.(the 5th photo of flaws)
Stain(A) on 'maegara' (front patterned part) is slight and not so noticeable from a distance.
Not shown on the sheet, there are smudges along the folding lines.
It has some other flaws so please check photos and figure.

If these minor flaws do not bother you, it could be still worn.
Please enjoy this elegant fashion.
