This is a chic hitoe(not lined)
Tsumugi Kimono with 'kikko'(tortoise shell)
Kasuri and graceful "Karabana"(imaginary Chinese flower) pattern, which is woven.
The tranquil color use gives unique yet chic impression.
Textile is rustic soft
Tsumugi silk with knobs of yarns.
The collar is hiro-eri(unfolded collar).
It was hand-sewn.
There is no 'Ishikiate'(square piece of reinforcement cloth) attached inside.
Basting stitches remain, so it seems to be after cleaning.
There are signs of wear on the collar which are not that noticeable when you fold them to wear.
There are perspiration stains on the both underarms.(B)
There is a large noticeable stain on the left front panel.(D)
For the details, please refer to the photos and figure.
If you don't mind those noticeable stains, it is still in wearable condition.
It must be good for dressing practice piece, display, stage costume and handcraft material. Enjoy!
