This is a
Fukuro obi with refined Housouge ' imaginary flower arabesque ',Biwa instrument, and classical motifs in 'Koushi' (lattice) pattern, which is woven.
Gold glazing outline and 'Raden'(design in mother-of-pearl inlay) foil are added in places of the pattern.
Textile is silk, and it has soft to the touch.
It has rather prominent folding lines and foils along the lines are smudged.
Discoloration on outside fabric and the wrong side are barely noticeable.
It has some other flaws as shown on photos.

If you do not mind the small flaws mentioned, it can continue to be worn.
