This is a graceful Zentsu (fully patterned)
Fukuro obi with abstract pattern, which is woven.
This pattern is used in a robe décolletée dress which is the Japanese empress has worn at the enthronement ceremony.
The gold foiled threads are woven and elegantly shining.
It has 'sakura'(cherry blossom) which is the national flower on the wrong side.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Both ends are rather roughly sewn that are not disturbing to wear.
*It is relatively long, 524cm (17'19").
The folding lines from 'tesaki'(narrow end) to 'taresaki'(end of part) are not noticeable and they are not disturbing.
