This is an elegant
Fukuro obi from Showa period (1926-1989).
It has 'kikko'(tortoise shell) and peacock pattern, which is woven.
Gold and colorful foiled threads are gorgeously shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Both ends are roughly sewn.(It doesn't matter when tied.)
It is relatively short, 404cm (13'25'').
Folding lines are relatively slight.(the 4th photo of flaws)
Snags and frays are small and not noticeable.(First and third photo of flaws)
Smudges are slight.
Spots of mold on the wrong side are not seen when tied.
Please check photos and figure.
However, it is in very good conditions as an old item.
