This is an elegant tsume-tsuzure casual
Nagoya obi with moon and 'sakura'(cherry blossom) on gold mist, which is woven.
It has special kind of comfortable and medium touch of
Tsume tsuzure silk.
It also has "Hatsurime" (small gap in the boundaries of colors), which is the distinctive feature of
Tsume tsuzure weave.
It was woven amazingly with "Tsume Tsuzure" technique. One thread by one thread, elaborately with nails. It takes incredibly long time to complete.
Maegara(front patterned part) are 'sakura'(cherry blossom) on Kanto wrap side(Rotate obi counterclockwise), 'kasumi'(mist) and moon on Kansai wrap side (Rotate obi clockwise).
*The background color looks uneven in the photos, but actually it is one tone of color.
The stains and snags on 'otaiko'(square bow) are not remarkable.
There are also flaws such as slight folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and figure.
It does not really shows signs of wear and it is in a very good condition.
Please enjoy this glamorous design adding extra elegance to your kimono fashion!
