This is a vintage Maru obi with 'tsuzumi'(Japanese drum) on clouds pattern, which is woven.
The colorful and graceful pattern is classic.
The textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The pattern is designed up side down to be tied with hikinuki knot style.
It is relatively short.(406cm/13'4")

Although it won't bother you to wear it, the stitches of 'tesaki'(end of folded part) and 'taresaki'(end of wide part) were a little rough.

There is a large stain on the plain area which could be hidden when you wear it.(A)
There are frays on the corners. (refer to the 1st flaws photo)
There are relatively noticeable stains, smudges on the edges.
(refer to the 2nd and 3rd flaws photo)
The snags are not that noticeable.
There are some other imperfections such as slight folding lines.

Although it has some flaws due to its age, it is still very tasteful design which only vintage items have.
