This is a tsume-tsuzure Nagoya obi with an elegant royal cart on 'kasumi'(mist) design, which is woven.
Gold foil threads woven in the pattern are gracefully shining.
It has special kind of comfortable and medium touch of Tsume tsuzure silk.
It also has "Hatsurime" (small gap in the boundaries of colors), which is the distinctive feature of Tsume tsuzure weave.
It is sewn as "matsuba-shitate" (open Nagoya obi with tightly folded end of belt part).

Maegara(front patterned part) is only one side.
When you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left (Rotate obi counterclockwise), the maegara will appear.

It was woven amazingly with "Tsume Tsuzure" technique. One thread by one thread, elaborately with nails.
It takes incredibly long time to complete.

*The background color may seem irregular on photos, but it is actually more reddish ivory color as seen in HTML code.

It has prominent folding lines.(The last photo)
The small snags on otaiko(square bow) and in middle, which is not so noticeable than the photos.(1st and A imperfection photos)
The stain is quite small.(3rd imperfection photo)
Please check photos and figure.

Please enjoy this wonderful design!
