This is an impressive
Furisode Kimono with "Ajisai" (Hydrangea) and rose on strip of paper pattern, which is dyed with Shibori (tie-dye) technique.
The fine gold glazing works are applied on the pattern.
Textile is exquisite silk with woven 'Honmon'(flowers on linked Sayagata) pattern and has soft touch.
It comes with an attached green additional layer of collar.
It was made by Takashimaya, one of the most popular high-end department store in Japan.
There are loose stitches on the both sleeve seams.(A)
Although the figure shows that there are discoloration and patinas throughout,
there are actually only on the white areas of "Ajisai" (Hydrangea) pattern.
There is almost no such imperfections on other areas.
For the details, please refer to the photos and figure.
If you don't mind those minor imperfections, it is still in good condition to wear.
Please enjoy wearing the gorgeous design at special events.
