This is a graceful vintage
Maru obi with plant such as 'Sakura'(cherry blossom), maple leaf and rice and Japanese instrument such as flute and 'Sho' (a Japanese wind instrument) pattern, which is woven.
Colorful pattern against the chic base shows retro atmosphere.
Gold and foiled threads woven in the pattern are gracefully shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
Both ends are roughly sewn, but not disturbing for wearing.
The pattern is designed up side down to be tied with hikinuki knot style.
The folding lines on the belt part are slight, but the ones near the tesaki are relatively prominent.(refer to the 6th flaws photo)
The indicated tear is actually pelt foil coated threads, and not so noticeable.
(refer to the 3rd flaws photo)
The frays are tiny, and discoloration, stains and smudges are slight.
The snags are not so noticeable.
For the details, please refer to the photos and figure.
Though it has some flaws by ages, please enjoy its full taste of vintage!
