This is an elegant vintage
Maru obi with 'torikabuto'(traditional bugaku hat), 'kicho'(partition used by noble people in ancient days) and plants such as 'aoi'(hollyhock) and 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) design, which is woven.
Gold foil threads woven in the pattern are elegantly shining.
The pattern at otaiko(square bow) part is designed upside down from kaikiri-line(end mark line) to be tied with hikinuki style.
Textile is silk and has soft touch.
It has slight discoloration throughout by age.
It has some deep wrinkles.(A)
The stain on tare(wide end) is noticeable, but others are not so.(The last photo)
It has some other unnoticeable flaws, such as folding lines, as shown on photos.
Please check photos and figure.
Unfortunately, it is no longer in wearable condition due to weaken fabric near tesaki(narrow end).
Please enjoy its full taste of vintage!
