This is a fashionable Nagoya obi with traditional flower tray and 'Dokko' (Buddhist altar object) on stripe pattern, which is woven.
Textile is exquisite silk and has rather stiff touch.
The length is rather short.339.5cm(11'1.7")

We found out later that the obi we show as the right side is actually a wrong side.
The other side is originally the right side(the photo showing otaiko bow has wrong side)
Do you find the difference? The pattern which look 'X' on both sides are supposed to be on the wrong side!
Probably the obi was used this way.....there seemed to be a clumsy person like me who was using this obi!

The stain on the tare end is noticeable. (refer to the 1st flaws photo)
The discoloration on the edges are rather prominent and bothering.
(refer to the 5th flaws photo)
It has some other flaws such as patinas, snags and folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.

There are quite a lot of flaw and may not be good enough for wearing but still you can use as material or obi tie practice.
You can just unstitch the starter part and the partial seam line at the tare end to use correct side.
