This is a vintage
Irotomesode kimono with Matsu (pine tree),'Ume' (plum blossom) , loyal cart and flying cranes pattern, which is dyed.
Gold glazing and embroidery are added for extra elegant look.
Textile is soft silk.
Collar is hiro-eri (unfolded).
Sleeves are gracefully long.
It has five kamon(family crest) dyed out.
Stains over chest are seen on lining, but they do not show on outside fabric. (F)
Small stains are on the pattern part of the front panels which maybe notice up close.
It has rather prominent wear on collar.
It is slight discolored throughout due to its old age and has patinas.
It has some other flaws as shown on photos.
Please see photos for details.
kamon(family crest) are rather blurry.
Though it cannot be worn formally any longer because of the discoloration, it still is a very charming piece for its classical design!!
