This is an elegant summer Ro Fukuro obi with 'kaede'(maple leaf) and asagaon on 'jigami'(fan shape) design, which is woven with gold and silver foil threads.
This piece is made by Kawashima Weaving Co., one of the most famous obi weavers.
Textile is transparent exquisite ro silk and has soft touch.

Both ends are roughly sewn.(It doesn't matter when tied.)
It is also tailored roughly so that the ro lines are curved on both ends.

Folding lines on the waist part are prominent.(Third photo of flaws)
Stains are slight.(Second photo of flaws, A)
Smudges are faint.
Weaving flaw is not seen when tied.
Please check photos and figure.

If you don't mind those flaws, it is still in good condition to wear.
Please enjoy this elegant summer fashion.

*Kawashima Textiles Co.*

In 1843, company founder, Jimbei Kawashima, opened a fabrics store in Nishijin, Kyoto.
Now Kawashima has two ongoing businesses, traditional garments/textiles and interior products, such as curtains.
The three lines and Gunpai, referee's fan, emblem are the two significant marks of the brand.
The brand is famous because their products and design are elegant, detailed and sophisticated.
Their Hon Fukuro obi is especially highly evaluated for its comfortableness and evenness in thickness.
