This is a gorgeous
Maru obi with 'shokkou'(octagon and rectangle) and chrysanthemum pattern, which is woven.
Lots of shining gold foil threads are woven.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
This piece is from Okiya(geisha house) in Kyoto.
It had to be tied by geisya.
It has frays on the side and corners allover.
There are tears on the center part of tare and tesaki ends.
It also has folding lines.

Though it has some imperfections, it is still wearable enough.
