This is an attractive vintage
Nagoya obi with 'tsubaki'(camellia) design, which is embroidered on the pink 'Shusu'(satin) base.
Its three dimensional look embroidery technique is beautiful.
Textile is silk and jinken(rayon) blend and has rather smooth touch.
It has discolorations overall, especially those on 'otaiko'(square bow), 'tare'(wide end) and tesaki(one end) are noticeable.
Woven threads are frayed on embroidery design.
Stains are tiny.
Not shown in the photos, fabric is frayed a little on some part, 1cm(0.4in) of two or three of them are on 'otaiko'(square bow), and four or five of them on tesaki(one end).
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Unfortunately it is no longer wearable due to tears.
Please enjoy this attractive design as display, handicraft material and so on.
