This is a vintage Maru obi with "Matsu"(pine tree) on hazy mist pattern, which is woven.
The woven gold foiled threads elegantly shine.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The pattern is designed up side down to be tied with hikinuki knot style.

There are fray(A) and a tear (refer to the 6th flaws photo).
It seams like the textile is weak.
There are some other imperfections such as folding lines and stains.
For the details, please refer to the photos and figure.

Textile doesn't have enough strength to tie.
However, it is still tasteful design which we would like you to enjoy.
