This is a fabulous Maru obi with 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) and "Kiri" (paulownia)design, which is woven on the shusu(satin) weave base.
It is made by Tatsumura with brand name with 'Made By Heizo Tatsumura'(top brand)
Glossy, fine and dynamic design is attractive.
Lots of shining foil threads are added to the design.

There is another 'otaiko'(square bow) pattern which will be seen inside of 'otaiko' when you tie it.
It is so called "Ura-Taiko" (wrong side taiko).
It makes this obi very luxurious which can be seen just a little bit.
It is the obi which is outstanding from regular 'otaiko' pattern obi.

Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
'Taresaki'(end of part) of about 7cm(2.75in) to 8cm(3.14in) are unpicking.
It has folding lines.
It has tiny patinas.
Threads are coming out.
They are not prominent.
It has a tiny fray, that will not appear when you tie. (5th imperfection photo)
Stains are slight and tiny.
For the details, please refer to the photos and figure.

Though it has some imperfections by ages, please enjoy its full taste of vintage!
