This is an attractive Nagoya obi with 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) arabesque on wavy line pattern, which is woven by Kawashima Textiles Co.
Gold and silver threads woven in the pattern are gracefully shining.
Textile is glossy exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The length is rather short.336cm(11')

There is a gunpai-mark(referee's fan) , which is distinct features of textile woven by Kawashima Weaving Co, one of the most famous obi weavers in Kyoto.

It has loosen stitches on both edges, and the threads are becoming weak.

The tare edges are also becoming loose, but not so noticeable.
(refer to the 1st flaws photo)
The liner loosen stitches will be hidden by otaiko(square bow).(A)
The slight discoloration overall is hardly noticeable.

The slight folding lines are hardly noticeable.(refer to the 2nd flaws photo)
It also has some other flaws which will be hidden when tied.

It needs to be repaired when tied because of the weaken threads of the edges.
