This is a gorgeous vintage
Maru obi with 'kikko' (tortoise shell) and 'Tsuru' (crane) eating 'matsu'(pine tree) circle pattern, which is woven.
Gold foil threads are woven and shining on the pattern.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
It has kaikiri lines(end mark line) on both ends, which is suitable for Hikinuki knot style.
It has slight stains on 'taresaki'(end of part), that are not so noticeable. (3rd imperfection photo)
Snags are rather big, but they could be hidden when you wear.(4th imperfection photo)
A stain is slight. (A)
A streaky weaving imperfection is minor. (B)
It has discoloration on the base due to its age.
It also has some other imperfections such as folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and figure.
Though it has some imperfections by ages, please enjoy its full taste of vintage!
