This is a graceful vintage
Maru obi with scrolls, plum blossoms, pine tree, hand drum and gosho-doki(palace, fan, and seasonal flowers motifs), which is woven.
The woven silver foiled threads elegantly shine.
Textile is d 'Jinken'(rayon) and has soft touch. It is ro, summer type weave.
The pattern is designed up side down to be tied with hikinuki knot style.
There is slight discoloration due to the age and there is rather prominent discoloration and patina on tare end.
Stains are rather vague mostly, there is a big stain (shown as A)but it does not show when the obi is worn. There are little holes near the place marked ■(it says fray).
For the details, please refer to the photos and figure.
Though it has some flaws by ages, please enjoy its full taste of vintage!
