This is a ro vintage kimono for summer.
It is dyed with a unique 'ishidatami'(stone pavement) and katabami(creeping wood sorrel) - like plants pattern.
The pale color design looks elegant.
The textile is transparent ro(sheer for summer) jinken(rayon), and has rather crisp touch.
The collar is 'hiro-eri'(unfolded).
The sleeve length is rather long.
This is hand-sewn.
There is a large 'Ishikiate'(a square piece of reinforcement cloth) attached to it, but no shoulder pads.
(The collar lining and the Ishiki-ate(lining fabric around hip part) are silk.)
It is sewn by Sagami, one of the famous Japanese kimono shop.
It seems to be made of a vintage bolt after the WWII because it has a tag and the collar lining and the Ishiki-ate(lining fabric around hip part) is rather new.
*The real base color is a little more blueish than in the photos.
There is very slight discoloration all over and it looks old.(G)
The stains and the patches of patina are slight, but a little noticeable because the base color is light.(C, D, F)
It is frayed and has whitish patches in places, which is a feature of jinken(rayon).
Many of the whitish patches are near the hem of the back bodice.
There are also smudges and wear on the collar, which is relatively slight.
For details, please check the figures and photos.
Though not shown in the figures and the photos, there is also slight discoloration along the "sebuse"(fabric which covers back center seam).
Because of the prominent flaws, it might not be suitable to wear.
However, it must be amazing handicraft material!
