This is a
Tsumugi Fukuro obi with a dyed zigzag pattern and an embroidered takara-zukushi(assorted treasure) pattern with the sashiko(an old needlework) technique.
The textile is knotted
Tsumugi silk, but has soft touch.
It is rather long, 504 cm(16'5").
It doesn't have a stiff lining inside. The both ends are not sewn.
The folding lines in the figure are actually not.
There is rather prominent discoloration along with the creases. (refer to the 2nd photo of the flaws)
Part of the discoloration will show in the 'maegara'(the front design).
For details, please check the figure and photos.
If you don't mind those flaws, it is still in good condition to wear.
We hope you enjoy this rustic and cute design!
*To make this obi wearable, an additional fee will be charged to tailor. Please ask for the details.
