This is a vintage
Maru obi with 'Kasamatsu'(spread branches pine tree), 'botan'(peony) and 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) pattern, which is woven.
Woven gold foil threads are shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The pattern is designed up side down to be tied with hikinuki knot style.
The length is rather short. 396cm(12ft 11.91in)
Both ends are rather roughly sewn, that are no problem to wear.
It has frays on corners of 'taresaki'(end of part) and 'tesaki'(narrow end).
It has a tiny and minor snag in middle. (2nd imperfection photo)
It has tiny but prominent stains. (3rd imperfection photo)
It has discoloration and folding lines due to its age.
It also has some other imperfections.

Unfortunately, it is no longer wearable.
