This is a vintage Kurotomesode kimono by Daihiko.
It is dyed and embroidered with a flower design such as a botan(peony), fuji(wisteria), tachibana(mandarin orange) and a design of the Heian period (792-1192) such as gosho-guruma(royal cart) and Azumaya (a cottage).
'Kinkoma'(thick golden threads) embroidery work is added to the design and shining gorgeously.
The textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
It has five embroidered kamons(family crest).
The bottom is slightly padded.
The collar is 'hiro-eri'(unfolded).
A hiyoku (an additional layer) is attached to it.

There is prominent discoloration in the base.
The design along creases in the top shoulders, top sleeves, belt part and the sleeves are noticeable.
There are perspiration stains.(F)
There are patches of patina on the light parts of the pattern.(C)
The lining has also discoloration in it.
For details, please check the figure and photos.

It is not suitable to wear at formal occasions because of the discoloration.
But we hope you enjoy this Daihiko's gorgeous design!
