This is a graceful vintage
Maru obi with 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) and branched ume(Japanese apricot) on bamboo fence design, which is dyed.
Embroidery work is added to the design partly.
Textile is Shioze silk, and it has soft and comfortable smooth touch which is the feature of Shioze silk.
It is relatively short, 396cm(12'99'').
It has kaikiri lines(end mark line) on both ends, which is suitable for Hikinuki knot style.
It has discolorations by ages on the base.
It has loose stitches of embroidery on 'otaiko'(square bow) and 'maegara' (front patterned part).(Third photo of flaws)
It has a tiny blackish stain (A) and a vague stain on 'maegara' (front patterned part)(refer to the 6th photo of flaws).
It also has folding lines.

Though it has some flaws by ages, please enjoy its full taste of vintage!
