This is an elegant
Irotomesode Kimono.
It is woven with a landscape of a road in the sea like ukiyoe(a picture of everyday life in the Edo period) by Utagawa Hiroshige.
The textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
No hiyoku (an additional layer) is attached to it.
It has a dyed kamon(family crest) on the nape.
It is sewn by Sagami, one of the famous Japanese kimono shop.
Basting stitches remain, so it seems to have been cleaned.
There is discoloration in the outside and the lining, which is slight and hardly noticeable.
There is also a small stain, which won't be seen under an obi when it's on.
For details, please check the figure and photos.
It is in very good condition as a whole.
We hope you enjoy this elegant fashion at formal occasions!
