This is a tasteful Tsumugi Fukuro obi with 'houou'(phoenix), 'karabana'(imaginary Chinese flower) and 'karakusa'(arabesque) on horizontal stripe pattern, which is dyed and embroidered.
Gold and silver glazing are added to the design.
Textile is rustic crisp Tsumugi silk with knobs of yarns.
Drawn work (one of the techniques of removing thread partly to make a ground textile seen through) is added to the design partly.

Both ends are roughly sewn.(It doesn't matter when tied.)
*The actual background color is relatively more bluish than the photos.

There are brown stains on top and bottom of 'otaiko'(square bow), especially stains(A) are disturbing but big ones would not be seen when tied.
Stains on 'maegara' (front patterned part) of Kanto wrap (rotate obi counterclockwise) side are relatively slight.
It has discolorations along creases from folding on bottom of 'otaiko'(square bow).
Discolorations on the side of 'maegara' (front patterned part) is not remarkable.
It has some other flaws such as folding lines.
Please check photos and figure.

Although there are these flaws, it is still wearable enough.
Please enjoy this tasteful fashion.
