This is a classical
Nagoya obi with 'botan'(peony), 'shippou' (interlocking circles) 'Hanabishi'(flower diamonds) and kamon(family crest) pattern, which is woven with 'karaori'(woven thickly in Chinese style) technique.
It is woven 'Hanabishi'(flower diamonds) pattern with shining gold foil threads.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
It has tiny snags and thread scuff caused by frays.
Most of them are not noticeable.
Snags on 'maegara' (front pattern on belly) of Kanto-maki (rotate obi counterclockwise) side are rather big and may be rather disturbing. (A)
It also has some other imperfections such as rather prominent folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and figure.
Though it has some imperfections, it is still wearable enough.
Please enjoy wearing it as everyday clothes!
