This is an elegant vintage
Maru obi with branched ume(Japanese apricot) and 'sasa'(bamboo leaf) design, which is embroidered.
Gold and silver foil threads are added to the design and elegantly shining.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
It has woven sayagata pattern on the base.
It has embroidery design on 'otaiko'(square bow) and 'maegara' (front patterned part) of Kansai wrap(rotate obi clockwise) side on the right side, and on 'taresaki'(end of wide part), 'otaiko'(square bow) and 'maegara' (front patterned part) of Kansai wrap(rotate obi clockwise) side on the wrong side.
It has discoloration by ages on the base, especially those on the slash marks (on the sheet) are prominent.(the 4th photo of flaws)
It has light brown stains on 'otaiko'(square bow).
There are whitish tiny patinas on 'otaiko'(square bow) and 'maegara' (front patterned part).
It has loose stitches on kaikiri lines(end mark line).
It also has folding lines.

Though it has some flaws by ages, please enjoy its full taste of vintage!
