This is a Juban(undergarment) with a fine sakura(cherry blossom) pattern, which is woven.
It is sodemusou(a lining is attached on sleeves with the same fabric).
It is also dyed with a distant mountain with the shibori(tie-dyed) technique, which makes it more elegant.
The textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
This is hand-sewn.
There is a large 'Ishikiate'(a square piece of reinforcement cloth) attached to it, but no shoulder pads.
A polyester 'han-eri'(a lapel for kimono juban) is attached to it.

There is slight discoloration along the creases.(A)
There is a patch of patina, which is not bothering.
For details, please check the figure and photos.

Though not shown in the figures and photos, there is also slight discoloration in the 'han-eri'(a lapel for kimono juban), "sebuse"(fabric which covers back center seam) and the Ishiki-ate(lining fabric around hip part).

Though it has some faults, we hope you enjoy this elegant design!

If you are looking for a right juban for Kimono, please do not refer to 'around hip' measurement as tailoring type of each juban varies.
Average back width of juban is approx 61cm(24in), and key to find the right juban is sleeve to sleeve and sleeve lengths.

Juban sleeve to sleeve length should be the same or slightly shorter length of kimono.
Juban sleeve length should be approx same or a little longer length so the sleeve bottom settle in the kimono sleeves nicely. If the juban sleves are shorter, the bottom of the sleeves will come out from kimono sleeves.
