This is a tasteful
Nagoya obi with cherry pattern, which is dyed.
It is by Mr. Kazuo Izeki, Kyo-Yuzen dyer.
Silver glazing outline is added to the pattern.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
It is woven 'sayagata' (linked reverse swastika) pattern.
There are designer's signature on upper 'tare'(wide end).
It has discoloration on 'tare'(wide end) and 'otaiko'(square bow) partly.
They are disturbing because of its base color.
Although not shown on the figure, it has five to six slight stains on left edge of 'otaiko'(square bow) and 'taresaki'(end of part).
For the details, please refer to the photos and figure.
If these imperfections do not bother you, it could be still worn.
Please enjoy its tasteful pattern!
