This is a vintage
Maru obi with alluring 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum), suisen 'daffodils' and 'Sakura'(cherry blossom) 'Marumon' (circle) pattern, which is finely embroidered.
Textile is 'Shusu'(satin) silk, and it has soft to the touch.
Length is 368cm(12'07"), rather short.
Embroidery is applied at three parts, Tare end, Otaiko and Kansai-maki (rotate obi clockwise) side of Maegara.
It has folding lines throughout, and there are also many wrinkles on Otaiko pattern. (second photo after the drawing image)
The embroidery is discolored due to its old age, and parts are frayed and torn. (fourth photo after the drawing image)
Corners of Tare and Tesaki ends are frayed, not mentioned on drawing image. (please see first photo after the drawing image )
Please see photos for details.
Because of its old age, it has some flaws, but it is still a very lovely vintage item.
