This is a charming vintage
Nagoya obi with checkerboard pattern, which is dyed with Shibori(tie-dye) technique.
It also has "Karabana"(imaginary Chinese flower) 'Karakusa'(arabesque) pattern, which is dyed.
Embroidery is added to the pink color base.
Textile is thin and exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The length is rather short. 327cm(10ft 8.74in)
It has some stains of 3cm(1.18in) size on 'otaiko'(square bow), that are slight and not noticeable. (2nd flaw photo)
Other stains are slight and not noticeable.
It has seams on end of 'tesaki'(narrow end).
Although not shown on the figure, it has discoloration on the base due to its age.
It also has some other imperfections such as folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and figure.
Though it has some imperfections by ages, please enjoy its full taste of vintage!
