This is a vintage ro Nagoya obi for summer.
It is dyed with a bamboo fence and autumn grasses pattern.
Embroidery work is added to the design.
The textile is transparent silk and has soft touch.
The length is rather short, 313.5 cm(10'3").
The 'maegara'(the front design) pattern will look differently depending on the direction from which you tie.
There are rather large stains on the upper part of the 'otaiko'(the square bow), and they will be seen when it's on.(A)
There are rather prominent discoloration all over and some patches of patina.
There are also other stains on the 'maegara'(the front design) of Kansai wrap(rotate obi clockwise) side.(C)
There are some other faults such as folding lines, so please check the figure and photos for details.
Though it has some faults due to its age, we hope you enjoy this refreshing vintage design!
