This is a refined vintage
Maru obi with fan, 'kaioke' (a hexagonal container to store clam shells, which are used ancient shell matching game - 'kaiawase'),
phoenix on 'kicho'(partition used by noble people in ancient days), 'matsu'(pine tree), 'Ume'(Plum blossoms) and 'Kiku'(chrysanthemum) pattern, which is woven.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The length is rather short. 384cm(12ft 7.18in)
The pattern is designed up side down to be tied with hikinuki knot style.
It has discoloration on the base due to its age, and has tiny patinas.
It also has some other imperfections such as folding lines.
