This is a cute girls' kimono.
It is dyed with a gosho-guruma(royal cart), temari(ball of cotton), paper crane and fan pattern.
It also has a shou-chiku-bai(auspicious motifs - pine tree, bamboo and plum blossom) and flower pattern on the vivid vermilion base.
Textile is hiraginu(plain silk), and has smooth touch.
The Dou-ura(the upper lining) is mainly silk and jinken(rayon) fabric is patched.
The Hakkake(the lower lining) is muslin.

*The shoulders are folded and sewn. If you unpick the seams, the sleeve to sleeve length will be about 10cm(3.9in) longer.
*The waist is folded and sewn. If you unpick the seams, the length will be about 10cm(3.9in) longer.

There are seams on the chest, the collar end and the lining.
There is irregular dyeing on the right front panel.(B)
The Hakkake(the lower lining) has some holes, which is not due to deterioration over time.(G)
The stain(F) on the back of the right sleeve is large and a little bothering.
Most of the other stains, smudges and frayed spots are tiny and not noticeable so much.
There are some other faults such as a slight large stain(H) on the Dou-ura(the upper lining), so please check the figures and photos for details.

Though not shown in the figures, there are five 5mm(0.19in) holes in the right sleeve cuff.
There are prominent pinholes and tiny stains along 20cm(7.87in) from the hem of the Hakkake(the lower lining).

Though it has some faults due to its age, we hope you enjoy its pretty design of a vintage kimono!
