This is a vintage
Nagoya obi with lovely 'kusudama'(flower ball) of 'tachibana' (Japanese green citrus), green maple leaves, k'kiku'(chrysanthemum) and 'sakura'(cherry blossom), which is embroidered.
The colorful embroidery contrasts finely with the background.
Textile is glossy 'Shusu'(satin) silk and has smooth touch.
It is relatively short, 338cm(11'09'').
Maegara(front patterned part) is only one side.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), designed side of Maegara will show.
It has different fabrics attached on the wrong side of both ends.
Patinas on 'otaiko'(square bow) and 'maegara' (front patterned part) are slight and tiny.
Not shown on the sheet, there are folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Though it has some flaws by ages, please enjoy its full taste of vintage!
