This is an elegant Furisode kimono with Tsujigahana pattern, which is dyed with Shibori(tie-dye) technique.
This piece is dyed by Tetsuya Higuma who is one of the famous Tsujigahana dyers.
Its fine Shibori(tie-dye) is fantastic and soft atmosphere.
Its light color usage is beautiful.
It is woven shining gold foil threads.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
There is a dyer's signature on right Okumi(front panel below collar end).
Hakkake (lower part of lining) has beautiful Tsujigahana design.

Basting stitches remain on sleeves and hem.

It has a tiny snag on upper right sleeve.
There is no other prominent flaw and it is in very good condition.
For the details, please refer to the photos and figure.

It's still wearable enough with very good condition.
Please enjoy its elegant fashion!

*Tetsuya Higuma*
He was born in Niigata in 1952, and he is one of the famous Tsujigahana dyers.
He learned Japanese painting and dyeing in 1972.
After having studied batik technique with plant dye, he began to produce the Tsujigahana dyeing in 1982.
