This is a vintage
Maru obi with a kiri(paulownia tree),
phoenix and botan(peony) pattern which is woven.
Gold foil thread is woven and shining on the tasteful pattern.
The textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The length is rather short, 398cm(13'1").
There is discoloration mainly in the pattern due to its age.
It is torn a little in both ends.
Some stitches of the kaikiri line(end mark line) are coming loose largely.
There are some other faults, so please check the figure and photos for details.
It may not have enough strength to be worn due to its old ages.
However, we hope you enjoy its tasteful vintage design as a handicraft material or display!
