This is a glamorous Kurotomesode Kimono with 'yukiwa'(snow crystal), house, 'Ume'(Plum blossoms) and 'matsu'(pine tree) design, which is dyed.
It is made by Chisou, one of the most famous kimono makers in Kyoto.
It also has wave and boat design.
Embroidery and gold glazing is added to the design partly.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
It has silk hiyoku (another layer of lining).
It has five dyed kamon(family crest).
It is sewn by Seibu one of the famous Japanese department store.

It has slight and whitish spots of mold, that may be disturbing. (C)
Smudges are rather prominent and may be disturbing. (A)
It also has prominent stains on the hiyoku eri.(E)
Stains and wear are slight and not so noticeable.

Although not shown on the figure and photo, it has discoloration on douura(lining of upper body) and hiyoku (another layer of lining).

Though you need to replace hiyoku-eri for wearing, it is still wearable enough for formal occasions.

*Chisou*

Chisou is one of the long-established stores of Kyo-Yuzen, which was established in 1555 in Kyoto.
They are top level dyers who continue to keep traditions.
At the same time, their new ideas and techniques which depend on their frontier spirit have been getting attention, and admired in the world.
Their products are appreciated as world top level art objects. The Imperial Household of Japan is one of their clients. They have been succeeded to exhibit the possibility
of Yuzen technique.
They are the distinguished producer of Kyo-Yuzen who devote to Yuzen technique which is the origin of Kimono dyeing.
