This is an elegant tsuzure
Fukuro obi with scroll book, gosho-guruma(royal cart), Heian noble, 'matsu'(pine tree), 'ume'(plum blossoms), 'kiku'(chrysanthemum) and 'botan'(peony) design, which is embroidered.
The fine embroidered design is eye-catching.
Textile is exquisite silk and has smooth touch.
Lining is not added inside.
Maegara(front patterned part) is only one side.
When you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to left (Rotate obi counterclockwise), the maegara will appear.
It has a stamp of the designer's signature on the 'tare'(wide end).
Tiny stain on the upper 'otaiko'(square bow) would not be seen when tied.(the 4th photo of flaws)
It has some other flaws such as folding lines.
Please check photos and figure.
It is in very good condition as a whole.
This piece has exquisite presence!
