This is a tasteful Tsume tsuzure Nagoya obi with a scenery of mountain range, rocks, and 'suisen'(daffodil) at waterfront, which is woven.
Gold foil threads woven in the pattern are elegantly shining.
Textile is exquisite thick silk and has soft touch.
It also has "Hatsurime" (small gap in the boundaries of colors), which is the distinctive feature of Tsume tsuzure weave.
Maegara(front patterned part) is only one side.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to right(Rotate obi clockwise), designed side of Maegara will show.

It was woven amazingly with "Tsume Tsuzure" technique. One thread by one thread, elaborately with nails.
It takes incredibly long time to complete. It has special kind of comfortable and medium touch of Tsume tsuzure silk.

It does not have any folding lines, and it seems unworn.
Not shown on the sheet, it has a slight blackish stain on 'otaiko'(square bow) however it would not be seen when tied.
There are some tiny snags.
Please check photos and figure.

It is in very good condition as a whole.
This piece would add extra elegance to your kimono outfit.
