This is a graceful Fukuro obi with a ume(Japanese apricot) and matsu(pine tree) pattern which is dyed on the 'otaiko'(the square bow).
Embroidery work is added partly to the design.
The textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.
The length is rather short, 414cm(13'58").
Both ends are rather roughly sewn, which is not disturbing to wear.
When you start wrapping the obi from your left tummy to the right(Rotate the obi clockwise), the embroidered 'maegara'(the front design) will be seen.

It has prominent folding lines.(refer to the 3rd photo of flaws)
It has several stains, but (A) and (B) in the figure is not stains, but features of the pattern.
(the pale brown stain shown in the first picture of faults are stain, not a pattern.)
There are some other faults such as tiny yellow patches of patina, so please check the figure and photos for details.

If you don't mind those flaws, it is still in good condition to wear.
We hope you enjoy this graceful design!
