This is a Tsume-Tsuzure casual Nagoya obi with a decorative pattern which is woven.
Gold and silver foil threads are woven and shining on the beautiful pattern on the black base.
The textile is exquisite tsuzure silk and has soft touch.
It also has "Hatsurikou" (small gap in the boundaries of colors), which is distinctive of Tsume tsuzure weave.

The 'Maegara' (front patterned part) is on one side.
If you start wrapping the obi from your right tummy to the left (Rotate obi counterclockwise), Maegara will show.
It is sewn as hiraki-shitate(opened tailoring).

One threads by one threads, it was woven elaborately with nails, and it had to be taken incredibly long time to be completed.

It has no folding lines, so it seems to be unworn.
The mold near the 'te-saki'(one end) is slight, and won't be seen when it's on.
The pattern has very slight discoloration, so please check the figure and photos for details.

As a whole, it is in very good condition.
Please enjoy its glamorous design adding extra elegance to your kimono fashion!
