This is a graceful Fukuro obi with wave, flower circles and arabesque on wave pattern, which is woven.
Gold foil threads are shining modestly.
It is designed by Shohei Hori, one of the famous Kimono designer, and famous for his 'Kinsai'(gold paint) work.
There are designer's signature inside 'tare'(wide end).
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch.

It has tiny spots of mold.
It has slight musty smell.
It also has some other flaws such as folding lines.
For the details, please refer to the photos and figure.

Though it has some flaws, it is still wearable enough.
Please enjoy its graceful fashion!

*Shohei Hori*
He is famous for his creative work in gold glazing of Kaga Yuzen, and he is called a 'Wizard of Gold Glazing'.
He has been on his current job since 1963, and he was certified as a traditional craftsman in hand drawing in 1997.
"Kimono is most beautiful when worn" as his theme, he continues to seek a beauty of Japanese Kimono at any given location.
