This is a vintage Hon -
Furisode Kimono for a bride.
A fan design with a traditional pattern like a takara-zukushi(assorted treasure) ,'fubako'(staionary box) and phoenix, and flowering plants pattern like a 'kiku'(chrysanthemum), sasa(bamboo leaves) and ume(Japanese apricot) is dyed.
The colorful design is beautiful against the elegant base color.
Embroidery work is added partly to the design on the left front panel, chest, sleeves and back bodice.
The textile is exquisite silk with a woven wave pattern, and has soft touch.
The collar is 'hiro-eri'(unfolded).
It has five dyed kamons(family crest).
The bottom is slightly padded to trail along the floor.
It has slight discoloration and yellow patches of patina, those on which the white parts are relatively prominent, and may be disturbing to wear.(B)
There is a pinhole, which is not noticeable so much.(D)
The other faults are tiny or slight.
For details, please check the figures and photos.
We hope you enjoy its full taste of vintage!
